Stenciling While most think of using stencils for painting the house, Drakencastle likes to use them in any way we can. This technique still works best on flat surfaces, where the stampers can be used on curves or corners, but it is in no way constrained to single color shapes. Drakencastle does do stencil work on walls within the home, but the requirement is obviously that the house in question be within a reasonable distance from us. But if you can't have someone come paint your room, why not decorate it with the same style?
One of the wonderful things about using stencils in your design is that you can personalize your gift even more by asking us to create a stencil for you. Love the ocean? We'll make it if we can't find it. Custom stencils are simple, cheap and made at no cost to you. It isn't just wood or walls that can hold this beauty. T-shirts are also excelent places to display your favorite things. Have a child that loves kittens, but doesn't have any more space to put just one more figure? Have us put together a design your child can wear over and over. This idea is also good for small group orders. Have five or six people coming to an event? Stop by and see if we can help you find something to wear. |
The simplest way to stencil is to simply use the one color chosen by the customer, fill the shape within the stencil and call it a gift. This isn't how Drakencastle works. We take things a bit further when we add shaging, texture and other small details.
