After painting the white base coat the flower forms are then used to add various types of flowers. Stems are then painted on to connect leaves and flowers to each other in a winding, garden-like patern. When the flowers have totally dried butterfly forms are then used to place butterflies in several places around the frame.

Two colors are blended on the forms before placing them on the frame itself. In this case Orange and yellow were used for the flowers, blue and yellow for the butterflies. These blendings of color add highlights and a more natural look to the overall design.

(This frame will not come with the image of Nana Visitor, it was used for display purposes only.) The image to the right is blurry because the frame was scanned with a computer scanner to show more of the detail on the wood. The glass reflected the scanner and so blured the photo.
