After painting the wodden box a brilliant blue, the box is then covered with a crafting glue and the items desired are placed on the glue. In this case ocean party napkins provided the images for the top and sides of the box. Napkins aren't wasted, each and every part of the napkin can be used, from the design to the simple background.

Jewels are then added to the lid of the box, with one placed as a handle in the center of the front side. In this case small circle jewels were placed among the sea creatures to represent bubbles floating through the water. Inside of the box, a whale and turtle are glued to the lid or base of the box, repeating the outer design and adding charm.
